The day before Running the L.A. Marathon
I am writing this blog post 24 hours before I will be running the 2010 Los Angeles Marathon. There are 25,000 people who will be running in this "Stadium to the Sea" event. I went yesterday to Dodger Stadium to pick up my race Swag Bag which contained a massive amount of advertisements, but, ther was one superb pice of swag I couldn't help but put on right away. A bad assed Census 2010 headband shown here. There is nothing much more one can say about the classy look that our tax dollars are going to but "WOW". Noodles asked me to take this off when she saw me in it. I think it was the ridiculous amount of women that couldn't stop staring at me or the fact that I wore it in public. Fortunately, Noodles was able to convince me to take it off before that convertible full of supermodels drove by. Otherwise, she may never have seen this face again.
There was also a pretty cool LA Marathon shirt. Here is the whole ensemble of awesomeness:
The Marathon shirt itself is actually a very nice shirt. Very lightweight and comfortable, and with absolutely no advertisement on the back of it, and minimal advertisement on the front. Along with the stellar attire, I was also gifted some powdered barley grass juice, one pack of 3 salonpas patches and, what could likely be the best item of all in my swag bag, a 2.5 ounce bag of cocoa roast almonds. With my epi pen clutched tight, I handed that bag over to Noodles immediately. She said to me: "This is great, I can use it for school" It's good to know that one man's trash is another (wo)man's treasure, because, eating one of those almonds would put me out of tomorrow's L.A. marathon, and then, all of this studmuffin attire would be worthless. Thanks for the free stuff all you companies out there. Let's RUN!

Lady Gaga Ft. Beyonce "Telephone"
I am excited about music again. Lady Gaga has proven to me that music is in fact not dead as I had previously thought. Thank you for bringing back the Music Video as an artform and making music mix with outrageous fashion as it always should.

Blogging for fun.
I'm watching The Biggest Loser right now. I love the show. It reminds me constantly of why I watch my weight. I see how much work these people put in week after week to just lose a few pounds. They are trying to undo decades of abuse to their bodies within a 3 month show. Amazing! I step on a scale nearly every single day. Some of these contestants haven't stepped on a scale in years, many of them say that home scales cannot go high enough to report their weight. Noodles and I are always running, biking, and now, playing volleyball together. Be active, you're going to enjoy life more.

Volleyball in a Sandstorm
Noodles and I set out today to get some beach volleyball practice in. We were ready! Too bad the wind was so strong that by the time we got to the beach, our legs and arms and faces felt like we were being sandblasted. No worries. We turned around, got some coffee and headed back home. At least we made an effort!
